Yunicorn is an Android handset with an octa-core CPU, 4GB RAM, and 13MP camera for $193 USD

Although a majority of us in the United States and Europe will probably never get a chance to encounter or hold the handsets announced during Computex, it"s still interesting to have a glance at some of the more interesting of the lot - offering mid to high-end specifications for fairly reasonable prices.

The Yunicorn by Yu doesn"t offer the most unique design, but it does offer an elegant looking metal body, with fingerprint reader and curved 2.5D 5.5-inch 1080p display. The handset is powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core processor, 4GB RAM and has 32GB of storage with microSD expansion. The Yu also offers a 13MP camera on the back, a 5MP camera on the front, and is powered by a large 4000mAh battery which should allow most users to get through at least a day on a single charge. Perhaps best of all is that the Yu is priced at an incredibly affordable Rs. 12,999, or ~$193 USD.

Those interested in the handset can register on Flipkart, where the Yu will be sold in three colors starting on June 7th.
