My Content doesn't list latest posts

Recommended Posts

This is bugging me really bad, I can't find what I posted yesterday or what's been replied to since..... when I go to My Content and show only posts, the last day of posts I have is Oct 24th, nothing since, sort it by last updated or replys still nothing newer...

is this a bug? I can not for the life of me find any of forum posts I've made since the 24th..... and I know they are there I can find them manually

Go to "View New Content" and everything you need is in the filter on the side

that should return the same results technically, and thats not updating either, still stuck on all data as of Oct 24th as the "latest" of everything i filter by

Agreed. This hasn't worked properly since the major upgrade before the recent one. I just learned to ignore it like others. You'd think it would be a simple thing for IPB to get right, but clearly not.

yeah I've had problems with it since the last major version of IBP, but now its just not working at all!

It probably doesn't even show content that is read, just the latest unread content.

That doesn't apply in my case. With Topics and Posts selected, i get a mix of read and unread content, apparently with the hottest unread topics listed first. No topics containing my posts from the past several days are included.

With Only Posts selected, i get a seemingly random assortment of old posts. None of my posts from the past several days are included, even if there is new or unread content in the topic.

not the case for me, its just flat out not updating, I am even after this last upgrade today still stuck on Oct 24th as the last posts for my posts, but topics are updating fine now, but if I post something right now it does not show up on my latest posts in the my content list

that's kinda what I get too for the only posts link, just random stuff from Oct 24th and before that

The search is still broken, it is not including threads that have unread posts, and honestly it is no surprise that the community is nowhere close to achieving 11 million posts in 11 years when it was so close to 10 million posts last year (currently it is on 10.25 million posts). I think this must be the quietest Neowin year on record because the damn search doesn't work, so nobody can post effectively.

New Content works for me just fine, also in the correct order:

This is unread content, which is selected on the right..

There are a few problems with search that I've reported to the devs and hopefully they will be fixed sooner rather than later.

It isn't working for me either for about a week or so

Please check if you have notifications enabled, I do for a lot of forum, topic, posts tracking; it could be linked to New Content.

I'd assume you would only get alerts to unread content, if you actually follow it, with the notification settings.. because as I said, it works for me :)

That isn't correct at all, I need you to also screenshot the right panel where you select the options for filtering, because my screenshot shows Content I have not yet read.

I don't know where that 'content I haven't read' is.

All I know is that it was working perfectly fine before a week ago or so

we are looking at two different sections, you are looking at "View new content" we are looking at "View my content"

Ah OK, well I find "View New Content" much more helpful and filters to the same thing as View My Content anyway. I'll check to see if our link is correct, and I know that DaveLegg is rebuilding the search indexes later, which may "fix" that page.

My Content has never worked for me for posts. Topics seem to work, but posts do not. I've mentioned it a few times, but it doesn't get fixed, so I'm assuming it's a big work item (Though one would think it would be just a SQL SELECT Statement or something...).

Might be related to this: http://community.invisionpower.com/tracker/issue-32930-my-content-search-is-broken/

Which was fixed with the 3.2.3 update.

I don't know if this forum uses Sphinx, but it appears to be related to that.

    • This Dell 27 inch 4K 120Hz IPS monitor is really cheap after a very long time by Sayan Sen Recently we covered a really good deal on an AMD RX 9070 three-fan model that's available at slightly above its MSRP. If you are looking for a GPU for 1440p gaming that's around the performance of the Nvidia RTX 5070 you should most definitely check it out. Let's say that you are looking for a monitor to pair that up with too. The Samsung 49" G9 curved QD-OLED superultrawide is a good option that can provide an immersive experience. However despite being a very good deal currently (at $855), it may seem unaffordable to you, or you may simply not want to spend as much on a monitor. In that case Dell's S2725QS can be a very good option as it's on sale at the moment for its lowest price in over six months (purchase link under the specs table down below). The big highlight of the Dell S2725QS is its 27-inch IPS panel with a 3840 x 2160 (4K UHD) resolution, offering a high pixel density that can make text appear sharper while also providing plenty of screen space for productivity and media consumption. The display supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz through both HDMI and DisplayPort, making it suitable not only for everyday desktop use but also for smoother gaming and scrolling. AMD FreeSync Premium support is included as well, helping reduce screen tearing during gaming sessions. The screen has fairly good brightness and color accuracy so you can use it for general work purpose, though photo/video editing is probably not going to be the best match for this. The technical specs of the Dell S2725QS are given in the table below: Specification Value Viewable Screen Size 27 in (68.58 cm) Screen Mode 4K UHD Maximum Resolution 3840 × 2160 Maximum Preset Resolution 3840 × 2160 @ 120 Hz Standard Refresh Rate 120 Hz Panel Technology In-plane Switching (IPS) Backlight Technology LED Edgelight System Pixel Density 163 PPI Response Time 8 ms GTG, 5 ms GTG, 4 ms GTG Horizontal Viewing Angle 178° Vertical Viewing Angle 178° Brightness 350 cd/m² (nits) Native Contrast Ratio 1500:1 Color Support 1.07 Billion Colors Color Gamut 99% sRGB (CIE 1931) Adaptive Sync AMD FreeSync Premium HDCP Support Yes Mount Type Panel Mount VESA Mount 100 × 100 mm Maximum Height Adjustment 13 cm Tilt -5° to 21° Swivel -30° to 30° Pivot ±90° Stand Adjustments Tilt, Swivel, Height, Pivot Glass Hardness 3H Horizontal Frequency 27–270 kHz (DisplayPort 1.4 / HDMI 2.1) Vertical Frequency 48–120 Hz (DisplayPort 1.4 / HDMI 2.1) Video Inputs 2 × HDMI 2.1 (HDCP 1.4 & 2.3), 1 × DisplayPort 1.4 (HDCP 1.4 & 2.3) Operating Temperature 0°C to 40°C Storage Temperature -20°C to 60°C Operating Humidity 10%–80% (Non-condensing) Storage Humidity 5%–95% (Non-condensing) Get it at the link below: Dell S2725QS 27-inch 4K 120Hz IPS monitor: $218.49 (Sold and Shipped by Amazon US) (Was: $280) Good to know This Amazon deal is U.S. specific, and not available in other regions unless specified.
