Xero
Hey, Anyone here heard the cd yet? I an advance copy was leaked on the net. I was wondering what all your think of it. Personally I love it. I like Eminem a lot and 2pac is my favorite rapper. I think Eminem did an amazing job producing this cd. He has blown me away. Coming from Encore which is more of a childish cd, straight to this serious cd. He did an incredible job. I love how he blends 2pac in with other rappers. For example in the song with Obie Trice, he has 2pac annouce obie before his verse. It was very well crafted and sounded very real. Anyone else heard the cd and have thoughts on it? WiNnErPL
Well I'm a huge 2pac fan and I'm a bit dissapointed cause I only really like 3 of the songs. But it's 2pac so I won't compain. Ghetto Gospel (w/Elton John) is sick!!!! Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/251788-2pac-loyal-to-the-game/#findComment-585026288 Share on other sites

SoulEata
I think Eminem is a great rapper but a horrible producer. Afeni Shakur only hired him because she wants money. Don
love the advance, cant wait for the retail, I am definatly buying this one.. I think eminem has grown to be a great producer.. i am not sure if I agree with eminem making 2pac say things he never said though. although it is cool, im just not sure if its right to do that. a few of the things he made him say were: he annoced obie trice he said "G Unit in the house... 50, banks, buck"(the rappers in gunit) and "this is my n1gga Em" but reguardless the cd is hot Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/251788-2pac-loyal-to-the-game/#findComment-585026921 Share on other sites

TooPackShaker
yeah Im not really liking the production and the some of the original versions of these songs were better Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/251788-2pac-loyal-to-the-game/#findComment-585027162 Share on other sites
Xero
I still think it's unique. It's not easy to make him say those things, because he didn't say them intentionally. I like them better that way because then it sounds more like a real cd then just all his old songs remixed. Xero
I don't think they are abusing 2pac to make money. Even when 2pac was alive he helped support his mom. Assuming she doesn't have a job he is still supporting her through his music. Nonetheless the new albums are great and I hope they keep making 2pac albums because He is my favorite rapper and he had the best lyrics around. Why not keep making albums. I'm sure if he were still alive he would still be making albums. Not to mention 2pac always spoke about him dying and he made tons of songs and left them unreleased so his music could still go on even after he was dead. As for Dre not being on it. It's because Dre is busy with his own label trying to get his artist's all out with a cd. Yes I did download the Advance copy. What are you going to do about it? lol And yes, 2pac is dead. It's a shame though. Even if he were alive. He did a damn good job faking it, but I doubt he is alive. Those are all just myths that make the fans feel better. ZZOOzzoo
Interesting story from Rolling Stone magazine. When he died, Tupac had sold 5.9 million records. Seven posthumous albums later, that number has soared above 35 million And just in case you didn't know, his new clothes line, 2 DVDs, biography and Broadway show inspired by his life is coming out next year! Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/251788-2pac-loyal-to-the-game/#findComment-585028175 Share on other sites
Xero
I stopped wearing all the ghetto clothes a year ago, but if 2pac has his own clothing line I might just pick up a few if they are nice. As for 2 DVD's what are they? As for the broadway show inspired by his life sounds intense. I have never really wanted to go see a broadway show until now ;) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/251788-2pac-loyal-to-the-game/#findComment-585029382 Share on other sites
