patriots of course... they don't have anyone against them, except giant fans. I think it will be a huge blow to everyone if giants win this superbowl

Everyone around me has been rooting against them. I was with my family a few weeks back when these two teams played. I was the only one who was hoping for 16-0

Well, it seems everytime i've seen the patriots behind, and i'm almost sure they werent gonna win, they rally at the end and come out on top. So, i'm obviously not going to say "i think they're gonna lose"...... They'll probly win, unless they have a really bad night, the giants have a really good night, and Brady and the pats cant pull some hail marys out their asses at the end to win it...... All highly unlikely.

I wouldnt go that far. They beat the Giants by the skin of their teeth just a few weeks ago. Giants know this and Pats know this. Advantage Giants.

I think big blue is going to suprize people. Its going to be a great game. Especially when the pats lose ;)

+1

Go Giants!

I think the better answer would be who cares......

It's just a stupid football game. In 3 months, will anyone (but the team & rabid fans) care?

Overpriced players.....overhyped game, and WAY overhyped halftime show.

Me grabs you and bites you in the neck! HAHA - now you are infected with Giants Fan!!!! You'll become hopeless in 2 days! MUAHHHHAAAAAHHHH

Well how about this, if you don't care about football (or anything for that matter) then why participate in the discussion? Sports (all of them) have their "rabid fans" and they are all "overpaid" and it'll go away. You can stay home and do whatever you do while us people with a pulse can continue to enjoy something, anything :) So what if we are rabid and they get paid too much, i'm entertained and therefore i pay for them to keep playing. If it wasn't entertaining to lots of people it would die off long ago.

Giants have the advantage because they lost. Yeah.

Pats 28-14

Go Giants. (Y)

I believe if anyone could do it, it is Big Blue. Never-mind the last game of the season against the Pats, which is without a doubt going to give them confidence. The truth is they were not supposed to make it this far, and as a result have virtually nothing to lose, while the Patriots have everything to lose. As a result, the Patriots may go into things very tight, while the Giants will be loose, and it could be a truly huge upset.

Now I am a life long Giants fan, so I know most of this is wishful thinking on my behalf, but I do actually semi-believe what I say above.

Also the Giants do have this one thing that has basically won all of their games for them... one hell of a Defense.

Plus they are unbelievable on the road...won 10 straight.

If it was anyone other than the Patriots, I'd give them a chance. I'm expecting the regular Manning-esque melton and a routine Patriots domination. Thing is, they shouldn't even be in the post-season. No doubt that they're great, but their punishment for the cheating scandal has to be the weakest possible.

    • This looks awesome, I will request access via Steam later this afternoon!
    • Personally, I’ve found that it’s usually worth investing in the infrastructure you don’t want to replace later, especially cabling. Running Cat6A (or better, depending on your needs) during an upgrade is relatively inexpensive compared to having to re-cable a few years down the road. For switches I try to balance current specs with realistic growth. If my budget allows it Ill choose switches with higher uplink speeds which leaves room for expanding later on, but I don’t necessarily overspend on access ports if the endpoints won’t benefit from them anytime soon. One lesson I’ve learned is that planning for scalability pays off. It’s much easier to add devices, VLANs, or higher-bandwidth workloads when your network infrastructure already supports it than to replace hardware later.  What is your budget like?
    • I hate the term, "future-proof." We saw it back in the 90's / 2000's, if not before. You cannot future-proof anything, since there is no definition of how far into the future you plan on prepping for. Best idea is to tell us what you currently have and what its use is at the moment, and we can then offer ideas about some areas that might need an upgrade and other areas that can be left alone.
    • I can agree that it is being used in a small capacity. I worked for a company where their engineers still used XP, and when asked why it was because their sensor software wasn't compatible with newer operating systems and the software was discontinued so they couldn't upgrade the software. Given that the sensors were still in use by companies, they had to continue using XP to support the sensor, otherwise the price to the company would have gone into the millions or billions. Our response was simple: Ok, you can keep the XP machine. But we're removing it from the network. "But then it can't access the Internet or folder shares!" Yup, kinda the point. If someone wants to continue using an unsecure OS they can do, I have no problem with that. But it should be isolated. Simple. I had a fight with a guy in the engineering department for weeks before he finally relented. But we digress.   What do I plan on doing to commemorate the anniversary? Nothing. I have fond memories of the OS, but at the end of the day it's just an OS. If I had some time I might see if I could install it on my Raspberry Pi for a laugh. But my reflex memory with today's OS ideas would probably get me frustrated and I'd uninstall it after 5 mins.
