Authorities remove over 60 felines in Arizona

Wittman, Arizona resident Lucienne Touboul, 81 is facing 26 counts of animal cruelty and neglect after the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office and the Arizona Humane Society issued a search warrant of her property on Wednesday and found more than 64 cats in her home.

Touboul admitted she used the dead cats to make her feline stew.

A veterinarian will evaluate the health of all the cats and test for feline leukemia and immunodeficiency virus. The cats will then be transferred to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office Animal Safe House.

According to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, animal hoarding is a complex animal cruelty, emotional, and public safety issue that draws a correlation with personality disorders, paranoia, delusional behavior, and depression. Most hoarders see themselves as "rescuers" and believe they are helping the animals. These people are oblivious to the suffering they inflict upon the animals forced to live in the most despicable and inhumane conditions.

Cooking cats... what part of it do you cook? Couldn't imagine there be much meat on some of them. Actually, I've just grossed myself out, don't answer that.

Weird why anybody would want 60 cats though :/ How would someone sleep with that many?
