hey guys, what is the best picture editing software u ever tried? We all know there are some major price difference so the price will not be a detail discussed here. So imagine yourself with 2000USD and wanna buy this software. Which one would you buy and why....

for myself, element 2 is the best. fast and can do almost all stuff that photoshop does...

i like paint shop pro. much simpler to use than photoshop. maybe not as powerfull, but good enough for me for what i use..

photoelements 2.0 is pretty good for the price. 99.999% of the people who have photoshop don't need or use all that power.

Paint Shop Pro 8

Photoshop 7

Microsoft Photo Editor (shipped with Microsoft Office)

and of course Microsoft Paint.

I can't vote as Fireworks MX is my most used program and it is not listed in the poll.

dude, I was talking about the majority of ppl. I'm glad to hear that you use the power of Photoshop.

I dont use 5% the power of Photoshoo myself.

that is why I choose something smaller like element.

I heard somewhere that adobe will do a element 3.0 soon? Can anyone confirm that?
