Question
DrJohnSmitherson
Hey all,
What would be the difference among Flask, Tornado and Twisted. I searched for this information and I keep reading people's answers to this question but it's not clicking. I think I need some real world examples.
I don't know much about web programming so when would I want to use these? What are some sample web apps that would utilize each? If I was making a mobile app that got data from a web server which would I use? What if I made some kind of online game? What about a chat room? Instant Messenger? File transfer program?
At work I did use Flask and we made an RESTful API with it.
I'm thinking online game, chat and instant messenger would use Twisted or Tornado.
And then for each, what scenario/project/app would be a bad choice? I think that an instant messenger wouldn't be best used by Flask.
