I've seen this problem in action. The problem occurs because it has to load the list of copied files in the portable device after everyfile, and as there get to be more files, it takes longer and longer and longer.

If you stop a copy, and then restart it, it goes back to fast, so just don't copy 3000 files at a time and it's not a problem.
