What does the "Report Post to Moderator" do?

I sometimes use it to say "move to completed visual styles" etc.

do moderators see this in the user cp or something?

When you report post/thread to moderator, an email is dispatched to the moderator assigned to that forum. The email will show a link to the offending page and your reason given for why it is inappropriate. All staff take reports seriously, so it is important that you do not misuse this tool. Misuse will lead to warnings and even bans.
