Recently I tried to put some new MP3 ringtones on my Motorola v525, a vodafone branded v500, which suddenly didn't work anymore... so I reinstalled the drivers for the bleutooth dongle and tried again...

Now I can see my phone, but cannot transfer files or do anything else... it gives me timeout's and 0x81000002 errors... I tried searching google, but all I found was some french forums, and since I cannot read french I don't know if there's a solution for the problem.

Does anybody know how I can make it work again? This method worked fine for me a coupleof weeks ago, so I have no clue whatsoever what's wrong :p

It really bothers me >.< help please

I bought a USB bluetooth dongle for my laptop to do this with my V600 and I couldn't transfer files either. So I decided to just get a $15 USB sync cable and it worked great. One thing I would try, uninstall the bluetooth software/drivers and the USB controller from the device manager. Restart, let it find the USB controller, restart. When you do reinstall the drivers for the bluetooth device, make sure not to let it pick the ones Microsoft included in XP SP2 if that is what you are running. Use the ones from your disc or ones you downloaded. Good luck...
