You know the "Starting Windows..." part, when replaced i don't even see the bar anymore on my computer (just like XP) and the Windows 2000 screen comes up right away. sailorsonic Posted April 12, 2005 Share Posted April 12, 2005 Okie i did it and it does help speeding up to boot. after some looking on the web i was able to do it. it does help. it does boot faster than it did before, as in getting to the logo faster. the two files I replaced are ntdetect.com and ntldr I replaced the files in safe mode just to be safe. might work in normal mode no idea. try it out :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
