Posting file tags in thread titles

Would there be a possibility for people to post what kind of file the thread is talking about in the actual thread title? For example, "[.mov] McLaren F1 new speed record" or "[.swf] Bomb Iraq" (random examples) - this would be convenient both because then you know what's in the thread, and also because some people don't have various codecs (e.g. real media player or quicktime) and thus the thread would be useless for them. It would save time, as well as looking good on the thread title!

Also if you're really lazy like me, and you can't be bothered to open/dl video files in the Jokes forum, it means you can go straight to the threads with text in (very fast load times).

It's not like you download the content when it's not text only. What difference in load time could you have?

Well I mean, say I have 5 mins and no sound (cos no earphones on a public computer for example), and I want to have a quick laugh, I'll go on the Jokes forum, and from there I'll try and find something in text which I can read, as opposed to a Flash or wmv video which takes half an hour to load.

Wouldn't the link to the Flash or video file be a clue that it's not a text joke? Also, lack of text is a tipoff. :|

He's saying he doesn't want to have to click on the topic to find out. He wants to be able to see whether it is flash or not before he clicks to open the topic.

I think it's a good idea, although something like [Flash] or [Text] would suffice, not the actual extension
