Hey gang,

i have a computer script applied at my GPO to an OU with only computers in it, the script it self looks like this.

regedit /s \\server\share\file.reg

regedit /s \\server\share\file.reg

thats it.

But for some reason the script doesnt run? Sorry it does run - in the boot up of the XP pro clients it says "applying computers stttings, running start up scripts" but the script doesnt do anything.

I kno that this scripts works running under the "User configuration" in the SAME GPO. I want to know if i have to allow computer account acces to the scripts FOLDER? (share)

Any help ?

Thanks guys

i was right

I added the computers to a domain local group called "test comps" and added "test comps" to the script folder with read and execute.

This worked straight away - and i later found a system builtin called Domain computers ... so instead just added that coz i need everyone to see it and now i am fine.

That was the answer - computers need access too.
