Here it is, Luna Element 3. A new version of the visual style some say is the best theme ever. It is based on Luna, the Windows XP default theme, and some stuff are still in original design so I can't take credit for everything. I hope you like it though.

Run the installer and if you have patched uxtheme.dll you can now change theme under Display Properties > Appearance > Windows and Buttons.

This VS includes 12 styles:

* Normal

* Noraml Compact

* Royal

* Royal Compact

* Classic

* Classic Compact

+ Alt. Startbutton for all above styles

The theme was updated: 2005-06-08

Current version is: 3.1

Changes in v3.1:

* Rebuilt theme from scratch

* Tweaked a lot of values

* New close button for tray balloons

* Theme now works for people who coudn't run it before

* Fixed issue with java control panel

* Fixed bug on Royal Alt. Startbutton

* Minor fix in shellstyle

* Corrected color on inactive window caption text

* Corrected colors on captionbar old style windows (ie. cmd.exe)

* Corrected colors on a few captionbar button glyphs

* Minor update to progressbar

* Classic captionbar is back

Changes in v3.06:

* Added the user image on start menu for Royal style

* Fixed misstake made on ? glyph

* Fixed a slider that I had forgot to skin (this should have been done in v2.0). :p

Changes in v3.05:

* Corrected colors on glyphs for captionbar buttons

* New progressbar

* Minor adjustments to startbutton values

Changes in v3.02:

* Fixed an issue with sliders.

* Theme display name is now Luna Element, not just Element.

Changes in v3.01:

* Fixed some bugs on taskbar

Changes in v3.0:

* new captionbars for all styles exept Royal (Royal is improved a little though)

* improved caption buttons for all styles

* improved taskbar (just a little)

* improved green startbuttons (might be a problem for languages where the text is not "start")

* improved scrollbars and spinners

* improved buttons (tiny change)

* improved some stuff on startmenu

* improved startmenu menu hover, now look more like default menus

* improved taskbar menu (grouped taskes)

* smaller scrollers by default for compact styles

* improved startmenu menu

* improved progressbars (just a little)

* 2 extra pixel in height for compact taskbar

There are probably more, just can't remember everything.

And don't forget to let me know what you think :)

Ok, guys. We had the best luna mod out there, right? Now we have the *BEST THEME* ever done. I can't say anything else. It's simply perfect, but it's not a big surprise, when we talk about an em3's theme.

You made me happy with this surprise! :woot:

* 2 extra pixel in height for compact taskbar

Mh... I used to like the ultra-thin style, but I can't stay without those new captionbars! Is there a way to reduce that size in stylebuilder? I can't figure out :(

However, this theme really kicks ass. :yes:

Just gotta say that this is absolutely the best.

I think that with a version with a thinner taskbar and with the introduction of a cool shellstyle it would be PERFECT!

Guess you can't please everyone because I actually like the current taskbar better. But whatever it is, Luna Element is one of the best themes that I've ever used and that just keep up the good work.

    • 26H2 absolutely will support ARM Windows just not on devices that came with 26H1. This is evident by the fact I am running 26H2, which on my MacBook Neo and Surface Pro 12 (inch), within a VM.

    • The FIFA World Cup is not US centric.
    • It’s amusing how Microsoft is pushing IT admins as if this was a major, game-changing update. In reality, it’s just an enablement package that bumps the build number, which is disappointing compared to the more substantial 22H2 and 24H2 releases. Technically, 25H2, 26H1, and the upcoming 26H2 are essentially the same, differing only in support schedules. They could have included the Windows K2 improvements here, but chose not to. The era of Windows being in the backburner continues, and this 26H2 release feels like an afterthought. Shame, Nadella, shame.
    • Microsoft, totally not confusing /s 25H2 - Current for non-Arm based Windows 26H1 - Current for Arm based Windows 26H2 - Only for non Arm Windows
