harrisxml
AHH!!! I accidentally compressed my Vista HDD. How do I decompress it? The error thrown is "bootmgr is compressed" & "press ctrl + alt + del to restart".

harrisxml
Yep, accident. I thought I was compressing my other drive because I forgot that windows installations name themselves C no matter what drive they are... How do I fix it? Jonte77
Boot the vista dvd to get to the command line. expand bootmgr temp attrib bootmgr -s -r -h del bootmgr ren temp bootmgr attrib bootmgr -a +s +r +h That should work :D
