I've looked around but can't find ot how to do this. Does anyone know how to reassign the keys to activate Flip 3D? I want to set one of the 'F' keys to it, or a mouse button for it.

For the mouse I looked in IntelliPoint settings & tried to set a keystoke. But it doesn't allow the Windows key

(only CTRL, ALT & Shift).

i also wanted this feature on my MX1000 so i stuffed around with it afew days ago i finally got it going. I done it in setpoint but it should work in intellipoint

heres what you do:

1. Assign the keystroke you want to use in intellipoint/setpoint. e.g. Ctrl+Alt+Up

2. Create shortcut of flip3d from quicklaunch to desktop

3. Get into properties from the shortcut you created on the desktop then assign the keystroke from above into it

4. Enjoy flip3d ;)

ps. the only way the above works is if the shortcut is on the desktop. just hide the desktop icons if it bothers you/

Brilliant. Thank you. I've been trying to work this out all morning.

You don't need to create a special shortcut.

You can activate Flid3D by pressing CTRL+WIN+TAB, and that will activate it and leave it on the screen after you let go of the keys. You should be able to program the MX1000 to execute this keystroke.

Interestingly CTRL+ALT+TAB brings up the ALT+TAB menu and leaves it up on the screen as well.

The best solution I've found is to create a shortcut from the task bar window switcher. I placed this in a folder e.g. C:\Program Files\Flip3D\

Then chose Start (Custom)... in the intellipoint drivers and set it to launch the shortcut.

This way the shortcut is out of sight and still works after a reboot.

Yay!

I know that this an old topic but just in case people are still looking for an easy solution to this.

Download and install uberOptions (http://www.mstarmetro.net/~rlowens/uberOptions/). This will "unlock" your setpoint program to allow you to program additionl options (it only modifies the XML file for setpoint).

Once it's installed, start Setpoint and go to your mouse section. Select the button you want to assign the 3d Doc flip to and set the options "Select Task -> Other" then click on the "Select Function" button that appears. In the menu that comes up scroll down until you see the options "Keys:WIN+CTRL+TAB". Click OK, Then Click OK again to close Setpoint and enjoy!

You can also do the same thing for a key on your keyboard too.

Hope this helps.
