General Information

This release is based on the all-new
AutoPatcher 5.6.
It was made for Windows
Vista 32 and x64
and is independent of the language of Windows Vista. That means that if you're running a 32 bits version of Vista, you'll only see the modules for Vista 32 bits (the same thing for the 64 bits version).

This is the second version, so we will include more stuff as time goes by.

Please provide feedback.

icon11.gifBitTorrent is a P2P system that makes transfering large files (or groups of files) amongst a large group of people easy, fast and efficient. The BitTorrent network is impressive mostly for the speed and reliability with which you get files that have been recently released. As long as a .torrent file has enough people sharing then you can be assured that it will start quickly and maintain a good download speed. Always remember to leave your BitTorrent client open to help distribute the files!

AutoPatcher will detect which updates are already installed and deselect them for you. So yes, it's alright :)

Is there any plans to add the office updates as well?, just was thinking if you did that, be even more better. Or would it then be to big?

There are plans for a separate AutoPatcher office, yes.

There is a free TweakUI tool for Vista:

http://neosmart.net/blog/2007/tweakui-for-vista/

I'm sorry, but that is just crappy! I appreciate the attempt but really, announce it like it really is.....a workaround. It's not a true Vista application. The mention in the blog of TweakVI makes me want to puke also. Providing a "slick" interface for options that are changeable if you dig enough is not the example of a good tool. Maybe their "ultimate" version is good? But I'm not wasting $50 to find out!!

Sorry I'm a bit off topic....

on topic: I can't wait for the new version!! Office updates are going to ROCK!!

^ Thanks, but the best detection is:

The "CurrentState" for detection is not the best choice. I've changed it in all modules and will be right next month. :)

    • Well I've done a grand total of nothing, and it now clocks between 2010mhz and 1995mhz (stock is 1710mhz) and hovers around 80c, warmer than it used to, but tolerable clocks seem to have returned. Thanks for all the advice on this thread. Will review the evidence and make a choice.

    • I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.
