can I use lenses from an N50 on a D50, or other DSLR?

I have an older 35mm Nikon N50 with some rather high quality lenses on it. I want to get a DSLR and was wondering if these lenses would work on DSLRS too, and which ones if they're specific.

yes...there are some that won't (the manual for the specific DSLR will way which ones won't) but yes, in general they will work on another Nikon DSLR
