Today we posted a new Beta driver for Windows XP, v162.15. This driver is a full UDA driver for GeForce FX, 6, 7, and 8 series GPUs. We really recommend that if anyone is going to play Lost Planet on Windows XP that they update to this driver.

We will also be posting a new Beta driver for Windows Vista in the next couple of days which will add a lot of key fixes as well as improved SLI for DirectX 10. Please continue to check the nZone Beta driver section here. I had a record number of emails over this driver - thanks for the feedback - and we know that this eagerly anticipated by the press and users as well as developers.

Not surprised... All of the latest drivers have had huge problems. I'm sure once they figure out the driver issue, I'll have a kick butt card but I can't tell it now.

There's an issue with the XP set also.

Installed them on mine for my 256mb GeForce 6200 and the system crashed hard during the reboot. Tried another reboot and the same thing happened. Had to boot into safe mode to uninstall them and reinstall the 94.24 set. Tried them on a friends system with the same exact card and got the same result.

The links are back up so am I to assume that the issue has been fixed? I think I'll hold off on installing until after work to hear a few more reports from other people, but I was able to download the x64 version.

Also, does anyone have a link to the newsletter they mention? I'd like to get on a driver mailing list of sorts.

Hmm would this work on my vid card for XP and Vista? See my sig.

I tried installing the official release of XP drivers - there are no 32-bit drivers for Server 2003, only 64-bit - (non-beta) on Server 2003 and it crashed. Go figure.

It will work for Vista, then you can get the XP one linked earlier in this thread for XP.
