Enabling compiz fusion antialiasing?

Hi, I can't get antialiasing to work in compiz fusion via the nvidia control panel > force defaults and wondered if there is an option to stitch it on in compiz or a config file somewhere.

Would be nice if you would state what you did to apply the anti-aliasing instead of just saying "Solved". This post is first in googles list when I searched for compiz fusion anti-aliasing.

The solution is (at least for nVidia cards) to use nvidia-settings and set antialiasing in "Antialiasing Settings" to "Override Application Settings" and set it to a desired level.

Generally you won't see much difference between x4 and x8.

And yes, it really has an impact on performance, with my setup (compiz 0.8.2, openSUSE 11.1 and nVidia 8800GT it is a little bit slower than without antialiasing but i got my settings on maximum).

Same as with Ati, just set it to override the application's settings under "Antialiasing".

I've set it to 4xAA Narrow-tent and it doesn't have a noticeable impact on performance: compiz 0.8.2, Mandriva 2009.1 x64, Ati 4870 1GB, Catalyst 9.7
