Bridge CS3 Metadata Issues

I have a Canon PowerShot S2 IS, and after taking shots I transfer them onto PC and apply a metadata template which contains Copyright, author etc details into the JPEG files which are available in Windows Explorer when we select Properties of the file I used to do this in CS2 but in CS3 when I apply it does not appear in the file properties anyone know how to fix this?

Did Adobe change the method or is there an option I have to enable to write it directly to the JPEG file?
