Poking around on google, I came across this thread: https://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=580880

It's a few days over 1 year old! I figured it'd be kinda neat to look back and see how things may have changed. I added a new question: how many bodies do you have?

I'll start.

Then: 1 lens 1 body

Now: 5 lenses 2 bodies

Nikon D50

Nikon D90

Tamron 28-200mm f3.8-5.6

Nikon 50mm f1.8

Tokina 12-24mm f4

Tamron 17-50mm f2.8

Nikon 18-105mm f3.5-5.6 VR

I voted last year and upgraded since (also sold stuff)

Click the imagine to see descriptions... D80, F60 and some lenses... I made this cause I'm too lazy to repeat it every year ;)

I envy all the people with f2.8 lenses and D90's or full-frame camera's... I can't afford them :(

1 body (400D)

3 lenses

I got my 50mm f/1.8 prime since last year's poll :)

I haven't had much time to spend out taking pictures for a while though... This semester of school is keeping me extremely busy :(

1 Body - Canon 350D

3 Lens - Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 Kit Lens

Tokina 10-17mm f/3.5-4.5 AT-X 107 DX Fisheye Lens

Canon EF 80-200 MkII f/4.5-5.6 Lens.

I'm going to be looking at picking up a few more lenses this year. Mainly the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Lens - From One Stop Digital.

Crap... I just noticed this is Digital Cameras. Fook. :D

Anyways, since I voted anyways.

2 Bodies- Asashi Pentax K1000, Canon AE-1

3 lenses- 50 mm f/2 lenses (2; 1 K-mount bayonet), Canon 70-210mm 1:4

Well it is Digital Camera Lab, but ah. I won't tell if you won't :p

Didn't vote in last years poll, but i've got 3 lenses and 2 bodies.

Nikon D50

Nikon D200 (just picked it up today, a real great camera)

Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G DX

Nikkor 55-200mm f/4-5.6G DX VR

Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D

Out of all of them, the D200 and 50mm is my favorite combination.

    • No. The file manager is a lost cause. After all, its dev receives all the undeserved praise he could evre wish from Neowin, without having actually earned it. This has never lead to improvements.

    • I know I won't ever be using it to make my game. I'd rather pay humans.
    • Nah. For every indie dev that needs to create code for "stuff" or textures, it's a godsend enabler to possibly tackle a project that you may not otherwise. The end result and testing will tell the truth if everything works or doesn't, or a game is just mediocre slop, but now these tools are now there and it's the developer's duty to judge the outcome, and even more so for pro studios. And you gotta remember that they will be at an early stage.
    • whoosh my comment went over your head. Enjoy your notchless 3:2 OLED device
