Is there a "download statusbar"-like plug-in for Safari?

I've quite using Speed Download as it was more than I needed, but one thing that annoys me about Safari is the Downloads window. I'm wondering if there is some kind of hack or plug-in that will put the Downloads information into Safari's status bar, like the "Download Statusbar" extension for Firefox.
