What is your favourite game of all time?

Just out of interest here, what is your favourite game of all time, doesn't matter if its super mario from NES or Metal Gear Solid 4 from the PS3.

Probably the MGS series.

Has to be something with decent story taking into account the gaming medium (story telling is nowhere near the level of film/tv show). Everything else is ultimately forgettable or upgradeable, as in FPS/Shooters/Action games and what not. They're fun, but if I'm choosing my "best game ever", I'm a story kind of guy and in that I need some level of sophistication and maturity. I really want more games with stories aimed at adults, not 14 year olds who want to cut up/shoot aliens. Can't wait for Heavy Rain this year for that reason :)

Silent Hill gets a shout also, 2 is a great game. So sad 5 ended up being so mediocre.
