These drivers support nForce4, all the necessary device ID's are still there.

The changelog in the OP is incomplete though:

And how are these supposed to work on the nforce 4 series? I saw no evidence in the .inf file that would lead me to believe that they will.

I don't know where you were looking but the Ethernet, SATA/RAID and SMBUS drivers contain all nForce4-specific device IDs like the last official nForce4 driver version 15.23.

15.25 is also WHQL for some of the previous boards, obviously goto Nvidia.com and choose your Chipset/OS to get the one that works with your system.

Yes I tried them with the nforce 4 series and it works fine. Also when you go through the nvidia automated check tool on their site and have a nforce 4 chipset, it will show the drivers listed above available for download. So no worries. ;)

Hate to say it but that board series is becoming more and more dated, I wouldnt expect any updates for it.

(Thats not to say they should not continue to support older products)
