PilotFish's Music Editing Phone Concept - Ondo

Recommended Posts

There are music phones and there is the Ondo, a concept phone from the industrial design folks from PilotFish.

The company, with a long history in the Industrial design field, has designed a whacky concept phone that might just be the shape of things in the future.

The wavy, curvy phone is made of "form sensitive" materials and comes with music editing capabilities. The editing part is interesting as all you need to do to edit is to bend or twist the phone according to your requirements and wait for the results. Once you're satisfied, you have the option to "send" the modified, edited file to anyone using MMS or e-mail.

Almost all parts of the phone are made of flexible materials. And yes, that includes the OLED screen which looks unlike another screen you might have come across in recent times. Even the screen is made of thee separate components and can be "clipped" on to different instruments (musical of course!) and is capable of recording sound.

Drooling already? Well, you might have to continue drooling because this one is just a concept. However, the company has said that this might be made available in the "near" future. We leave it to you to calculate how near that future is!
