This chart compares features of interest to IT professionals across three versions of the Windows client operating system: Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista SP1, and Windows 7:

Might as well change the topic name to,

Windows7 New Features and Changes in Architecture, this isnt a comparison its a new feature/changelog maybe list.
I enjoyed knowing that we will have a better OS indeed.

Thanks

Just give us the option of a cascading menu as in XP.

FFS it aint hard is it? Less clicks and bloody easier.

Vista and Windows 7, more clicks, more searching for the app you want. ****ing ridiculous

Boots as fast as a normal clean booted computer boots.

I found no diff with clean XP, Clean Vista or clean Windows 7

Its what you put into it that ultimately adds to the boot time.

For my usage, that confirms there's nothing additional in Vista or Win 7 that I need or would use, so will stick with XP, at least until 2014 or if I'm forced to buy a new PC.

This is a list for IT professionals. Not general home users.

You may not understand some of them. That doesn't suddenly mean they don't exist, or don't impact usability.

And as for the Vista/Win7 start menu needing more clicks? How, exactly?
