Nah not really worth its , its pretty tired , Although I agree with you it was the right kinda size and weight . You know the quality was their , I don't have a local apple retailer close to me to even try or feel the newer ones and i really don't like going to pc world.

So i went out and bought on need to be on the web a zoomstorm pc from Argos because I work out in the country side i don't get much shopping time, so it my first time back on windows after about 5 years am kinda out the loop !

Still using my 12" G3 iBook too. The battery only holds charge for 10-15 mins though.

That's a shame. I still use my 14" iBook every day. The thing's been a workhorse for so long now. If my iMac were to explode tomorrow I wouldn't mind using my iBook exclusively.

My sister swapped a decent laptop for an ibook G3, it was ok for a little while but it is one of the models with the infamous graphics chip problem, the thing kept freezing every so often and to get it to turn on you had to apply pressure to the left of the track pad. I then had trouble getting it to work on our new internet connection and decided to re-install tiger, but it gets stuck on Disc 2 and asks you to re-insert it, it then starts the disc 2 part of the installation and then does the same thing again! Any ideas how i can force it to restart the installation? if i put disc 1 in it tells me to put disc 2 in. sad.gif or is there any way i can wipe the HDD for it to restart the install?
