If you use Chrome, check out their plugin. It's beer and peanuts. This is an app I actually started writing as my OOP class assignment project, but I liked the idea so much that I decided to KEEP developing it. More or less, this is an app that resolves info about media releases, then looks up each track and plays it from inside the app. Right now you can only browse and play one release at a time, but I'm going to add support for true playlists soon. Written in WPF, requires Windows with .NET framework 4 and Windows Media Player installed (I'm working on the latter, though). At this point it's more of a proof of concept, rather than a complete app, but I really need feedback, what to improve and what you guys would like to see. [Here was a list of what's in it, what's being prepared and what's to come, which I deleted for the sake of releasing the next version - 2011-08-12] Download this version (as well as the upcoming ones later on) here. (Please note - I haven't learned proper versioning yet, so you'll have to rely on the filename) This version ceased from working after vk.com changed stuff under their hood - I'm working on it.
