Which Windows Phone for Verizon?

My birthday is coming up here, and i'm planning on treating myself to a Windows Phone (Both my Android phones, Droid Eris & Samsung Galaxy S, have been terrible and i am done with android for a bit), but I was curious what my fellow Neowin members would suggest to get as far as Windows Phones for Verizon go. I've heard good things about the HTC Trophy.

Trophy is the only WP on Verizon right now and no coming Mango phones have been confirmed on Verizon afaik. Trophy is a prett basic phone, but you could try it out.

Is it really? Well that's a shame. Would it be better to hold off on buying a new phone? What about the Trophy is basic?

Im in the same boat as you. I have a Droid X and want to go WP. Im currently waiting to see what Nokia has in store or even Samsung/HTC for Verizon. If something gets announced thats not a great upgrade, I might pick up a used Trophy for the meantime if I can get a good deal.
