My guess would be that it is all aerodynamics stuff. it certainly looks like there might be some interesting things going on on the plinth. Bit tricky to see though.

Don't know if it is an angle/photo thing but that nose looks much lower than the Caterham one.

Bit evasive on exhaust blowing there. I know they won't want to tell the other teams exactly what they are up to but sounds like there may be some "interpretation" of the rules there.
