Wombatt
Hey Guys, I'm looking for an application for my android phone, that allows me to mount it as an SMB network share under OSX. I have tried FTP services, but this only allows reading privileges due to a limitation in OSX. Any suggestions or workarounds would be appreciated! Wombatt
Try EsFile Explorer :) From what I can find, EsFile explorer allows me to see, and access a shared folder on OSX, but doesn't allow me to create a shared resource on my phone. Obi-Wan Kenobi
I use WiFi File Explorer. It sets up a server on your phone, then you can point your browser to your device's IP address, and download/upload anything from your phone that your heart desires. I can't live without it. srbeen
cifsmanager this will allow you to map a SMB/cifs share as a folder on your device. Mobo plays nice this way over network. 99% this requires superuser/root.

Yes, I have been using this for years now, its great and works, but I'm now looking for Finder integration. ;)
