Putting all the discussion of this current Windows 8 CP here instead of having scattered discussions about it in the Windows 8 News Coverage post which is anything about Windows 8.

The ESD is for upgrade installs only I believe. If you want a clean/full install wait for the iso.

The ESD is a "Electronic Software Distribution" package, by the looks of it. Apparently MS use them for purchases from the MSStore.
