How well will this hardware cope with Battlefield 3?

I'm getting a new laptop that has these specs,

Processor - Intel i7 2860M (2.5Ghz 8MB Quad-Core)

Video Card - AMD Radeon HD 6990M (2GB GDDR5)

Memory - 8GB 1333Mhz DDR3

I'm buying this laptop in the hope of playing battlefield pretty well, anyone know roughly how well it'll cope? And at what settings it will be able to power BF3 at?

Should be fine for running battlefield. =) My setup runs BF3 on the highest settings without a hitch

You guys really should factor in what resolution you are running at... sure it may run it at 1280x720 or something, but what if you want to run it at 2560x1600, it would crawl...
