I've got a Linksys WRT54GSv2, which has worked great for 5 years. But I'm ready to upgrade. I need better signal strength and we have a lot more devices connected at home than we did 5 years ago.

So, does anyone have pros and cons for these:

Asus.

It has external anntenas......Just for that....

And for the most part wireless works through walls so for antennas to be internal going through a bit of plastic I don't think its going to make much difference.

If you can find it in your budget ... the Asus RT-N66U is a monster, I'd highly recommend it, latest and greatest tech and very well supported. I used to run DD WRT on the 54G but there really is no need anymore, this thing has it all. In fact here is a quote from one of the reviews "The range is a lot better than asus rt-n16 that it is replacing."
