Elliot B.
I have added the account to the default e-mail client (POP3, it is a custom domain, not a provided such as Hotmail or Gmail) but there appears to be no option to sync all e-mails to the device. Within the e-mail Account Settings, I get: General settings Account name Your name Signature Inbox check frequency Default account [*]Notification settings Email notifications Select ringtone [*]Server settings Incoming settings Username Password POP3 server Security type Port Delete email from server [*]Outgoing settings STMP server Security type Port Require sign-in Username Password [*]Remove account Remove account Any ideas? Elliot B.
Have you checked in System Settings > Accounts & Sync ? Only three options I see there: General sync settings Background data (ticked) Auto-sync (ticked) [*]Manage accounts <the e-mail account name> ("Sync is ON") However, it is still not downloading the e-mails. Not even only the headers.
Japlabot
POP and SYNC do not belong in the same sentence except to say "POP does not support Sync". POP email client will only pull in what's on the POP server. If all your old emails have been pulled off your POP server and into your local mail client, then it is no longer on the POP server to download. Do yourself a favour and set your domain up with Google Apps, Office 365 or Windows Live Custom Domains or at least something with IMAP.

Basically a friend (she is not computer-literate) has accessed her POP3 e-mail via. Outlook Express for many years. She bought a Motorola Xoom and would also like her e-mails on the Xoom. Will this be possible given her current setup?
Japlabot
Set her up on Gmail/Google Apps, add Gmail/Google Apps to Outlook Express as an IMAP account, drag and drop all her emails into Gmail/Google Apps, set tablet up as Gmail/Google Apps. This is the best way. It is also possible to set her Outlook Express to leave the mail on the server for 7 days before deleting (Tablet clients always leave iton the server) but this is a messy solution because it will just be a copy of each email, any folder structure or read/unread/flag status etc. won't carry over. When you delete off one it will still be on the other.
manroweb
Give me a shout, I would happily move the domain over to google apps (free) for you.
