I'm looking to buy a tablet to run Windows 8 on so I can learn it before it comes out so I can help support my customers. The reason I need a tablet, is because not installing W8 on my Desktop workstation. Installed the CP on my 17 laptop that lives on the couch as soon as the CP came but W8 is REALLY annoying me (At least with a mouse and keyboard) and want windows 7 back but at the same time I really have to learn windows 8. This does not mean I hate Metro. In fact I'm super excited to use it on a tablet.

I was looking online and it looks like the MSI WindPad 110W 10-Inch Tablet is a really nice tablet with some pretty nice graphics built in. So I was wondering if antyone here owns one. If you do own one, i'm guessing buy now you've put the Windows 8 CP on it. What do you think of it?

Works great with Windows 8, you will need to load 2 drivers that Windows 8 does not load which are the GSensor and Bluetooth. Just get the Windows 7 x86 drivers from acers support site.

Also you want to load the x86 version of Windows 8 CP not x64.

Any other specific questions let me know.

Picked one up for work, still have windows 7 on it. Screen is very responsive and accurate, no real issues with the tablet. Its a little slow, but its to be expected with the 1ghz dual core.

Thank you everyone for responding. After looking at the specs i've turned my attention to the
MSI WindPad 110W 10-Inch Tablet Computer

http://www.amazon.co...Q/ref=de_a_smtd

it comes with 4GB of ram instead of the 1GB of the Acer Iconia Tab w500 and 32GB SSD. So now i'm going to rename the thread.

Mine wasn't slow at all in Windows 7 or Windows 8.... and it comes with 2GB ram warwagon not 1GB, also the SSD is W500 is 32GB as well.

Not to mention the keyboard dock with touchpoint that comes with it, the MSI doesn't come with that.
