How to get THE STORE App back after accidentally uninstalling it.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume this is for Windows 8, since you aren't very specific about what OS, etc. That and you can't uninstall the 'Store' metro app, but you might have unpinned it from the Start screen.

So if you've unpinned it from the Start screen, right-click on any open space in the Start screen and choose All Apps from the bottom bar. From there you can easily locate Store and choose Pin to Start, and it's back to being on your Start screen.

Well i didnt mentioned windows 8 here because i assumed that in this Microsoft Beta forum and Windows 8 is the beta product with Metro Apps right now.

To clear things here...

No the store is not "unpinned", its not there in "All Apps" section of the Metro Start Screen and it cant be searched by pressing Win+Q.

You are right the STORE App is actually not totally uninstalled, its there in another user account on the same machine, but its no where to be found in this particular UserID

      You are mostly right about the ephemeral nature of it. As I mention in the article, if you dont add a second device or take a backup of your account before uninstalling it, then yes you will lose access to your account. That said, in terms of actual user experience when you sync multiple devices your message history carries across and there's also a Saved Messages chat like there is on Telegram to send messages and attachments between your installs. But yh, what you point out are correct and its not trying to emulate Messenger or Telegram.

      OK so SearXNG is a meta search engine that you can install locally or use via a public instance. It scrapes other search engines which you choose and then sorts the results. Not as complicated as multiple relays
