CP in Parallels, no sound

Repeated crashing in Boot Camp has lead me to try installing Windows 8 CP in Parallels instead. So far it's mostly working, but Windows is telling me I have no audio output device installed. I'm using a 5,1 MacBook. Any possible solutions?

did you enable sound in parallels/boot camp. Did you install ALLL of the drivers required?

Parallels & Boot Camp are not the same thing. Turns out the drivers are different. Parallels emulates an AMD soundcard, while I was using the supplied MacBook drivers.

Fail. Crashes all the same. Guess I just won't be running Windows 8 on this system.
