Stuck at the welcome screen

I noticed a few things when i start my computer, i get stuck at the Welcome screen with the circle thingy still spinning. My profile does not load at all. If i restart my computer multiple times, i can sometimes be able to log in with my windows profile. my profile account is linked to my windows account. I am guessing that the reason why i am getting stuck at the welcome screen may be caused by windows not reaching the windows server for my profile setting. Which i find odd since i have DSL and my connection and computer is always plugged in and on
