I noticed that the forum will lock up when it attempts to load the faceook "like" button at the top

This is making Chrome stall a bit when it loads and sometimes makes Chrome freak out and want to kill the tab.

often I leave the neowin tab open and sometimes I have to close it and re-open to get it to not stall on that anymore..... overtime it gets worse...

I have the latest Chrome stable version.

I can tell this is the problem because it will say "waiting for facebook.com..." and it does that...

Anyone else have this issue???

Confirmed....On both Opera 11.62 and IE9.

Edit: It also hangs on a post edit.

Can you both connect to Facebook OK? Because that is where it loads from.

Hmm I don't know then? Are you blocking 3rd party javascripts? Because the button also detects if you are logged into Facebook and if you have already liked the site.

No, no scriptblockers... I wish i could find a decent one for Chrome to prevent autoplaying of flash vids on news sites LOL....

I'll ask Timan if he can put it in an iframe or something, so it doesn't affect the site loading.
