I still whant to get a computer that runs atleast snow leapord. How much would a C2D iMac run??

As said many, many times by now, get a C2D Mini. You can find them for cheap on Ebay.

OR, build a Hackintosh. My old Dual-Core ran Snow Leopard fine, and to build that now would cost maybe $100 tops.

If we had C2D iMacs they would be $500+ and they usually go fast.

Seen them cheaper than that already, and that was even my model which is 20" already.

Also a Mac Mini is a good choice, unless you explicitly want an All-in-one...

Computers that are that old don't really feel much faster from model to model, because usually you'll limit them to basic tasks and do your main work on a better machine.

So apart from OS and some light applications it's nothing to compare here usually.

C2D means you get up to Lion.

Snow Leopard runs extremely fine on C2Ds.

How much are the first mac mini running on ebay?

From $100 to $200 or so, but I don't think they're worth it. The cheap ones will not have wifi or bluetooth (they were configured options on the first mac minis), and they've got G4s in them.

I've seen C2D ones for only slightly more, which came default with wifi and bluetooth, and are very reliable computers that you can work on (more easily than an iMac or a Macbook). A C2D is still a decent processor for modern applications. Just make sure you don't get a Core Solo model, which are the worst ones they ever made.

    • draw.io Desktop 30.2.6 by Razvan Serea draw.io desktop is a downloadable security-first diagramming application that runs on Windows, MacOS and Linux. Creating diagrams in the desktop app doesn’t need an internet connection. This is useful when you are disconnected or when you must create diagrams in a highly secure environment, where data protection is of the utmost importance. When you use the draw.io desktop app, your diagrams will be stored on your local device. Because this is a stand-alone application, also designed to run offline, there are no interfaces to cloud storage platforms available. Of course, you can still store your diagrams in folders that are synchronised to your cloud storage if you wish. Easy-to-use diagram editor The draw.io apps work just like the office and drawing tools you are used to using. Drag and drop shapes from the shape libraries and drag to draw connectors between them. Drag connectors to add waypoints and set a precise shape and position, or let them reroute automatically. Double click and start typing to add a label to anything. Create tables and swimlane flows with a familiar tool. Style shapes and connectors with customisable palettes, sketch options, fonts and text formatting tools. Search for shapes, including in open-source icon libraries. Use our vast libraries of shapes and templates, organised into logical categories, to create a range of diagrams and infographics. Generate diagrams from text descriptions using our smart templates. Diagram faster with keyboard shortcuts. draw.io Desktop 30.2.6 changelog: Uses electron 42.5.0 #2452 Updates to draw.io core 30.2.6.
