Samsung today announced a new Windows Phone device called Omnia M targeting new smartphone owners. The new Omnia M device will act as the successor to original Omnia 7 device. Samsung Omnia M will feature 1GHz processor and a 4? Super AMOLED display. The device will come with 5MP primary camera, a VGA front cam, 1500 mAh battery and 4GB memory.

The model number of the device is GT-I8350 and it will be rolled out soon in Europe followed by other regions.

Specs aren't hot but I think it looks already design wise. It's pretty clear this is their new budget play with WP and should be on the cheap side when sold (probably free with contract for the get go or maybe sold like one of those pay-as-you-go phones they sell a lot of over here in Europe).

Either way, with this and the Focus II in the US they're probably Samsungs final WP7.5 devices and will IMO be the low end budget starting point while the new WP8 devices will be the mid and high-end phones going forward later this year.

It looks a lot like an iPhone 3g with that bezel around the screen. It's an ugly phone, IMO.

I think it's keeping with samsungs overall design style though. At this point you can sorta tell at a glance that something is a samsung really.

Personally I don?t like Windows Phone because it?s running very slow most of the times stuck when you do some work on it. I like Android phone which is fast with unlimited free applications.

Not sure if serious or ..........
