Even on my best day (the ones where I wasn't drunk the night before), I can barely manage 15 seconds.

Pssshh such a newbie. I can do it zero second :D . All the ties I have still have the "loop." I don't wear ties frequent enough to remember the steps.

Apparently I am the odd one out D:

I'm a product of private schooling, I can tie my tie in about 5 seconds without that loop trick >.>

I'm surprised how many people can't tie their ties D:

Don't you guys wear ties for work?

As a professional engineer, I just wear khaki and long-sleeve dress shirt. About 20 years, the engineers wore complete suit, at least from the photographs of the employees during the time. It has since changed. I now see younger engineers wearing jeans and polo shirts. I actually don't have any issues with that. A few of them don't even tuck in their shirts.

I don't know if I even have a tie anymore. I've only worn one 4 times in my life: high school graduation ceremony, university graduation ceremony, and 2 job interviews. Later on I found I didnt even need to dress for the interview, they didn't care at all...felt kinda sad I had to increment the tie count...
Despite working at a large financial institution, I have never worn one since.
