good alternatives to google maps

Are there any other map apps for Android that are any good besides google maps?

Co-Pilot now offer a free mapping/routing app that stores the maps on your memory so doesn't need a data signal if that is what you are after.

Co pilot? don't they use outdated maps though??? I think they use NAVTEQ which gets updated slower then Gmaps.

Google maps doesn't work on my tab so looking for something as similar to it as possible. Will give co-pilot a look.
