Would a dev really say they have switched or would they say they are versed in both OS's?

iOS is where the money is so you made a sane choice in my opinion.

Android users like will only pay for an app if it's worth the money, problem is too many pay apps are complete garbage and are easily outperformed by free apps, piracy has been debunked as FUD, write an app that's good and people will pay for it in droves, there are a few devs out there making money exclusively writing Android apps,
