Well, considering Chrome OS really hasn't hit it big yet, I guess it specifically would fit outside that forum. Problem is, they've got tablets releasing with Android for example, including their latest Nexus 7, and are somehow working on a Chrome OS as well.

Maybe just renaming the Android forum/description to include this would solve the issue? Right now, I don't see it needing another forum at least, considering how little conversation there is regarding the topic currently as it is.

Chrome OS is basically yet another Linux distribution with very little market share thus far. Therefore any threads pertaining to Chrome OS belong in the 'Linux / UNIX Discussion and Support' sub-forum imho.

For now yes, until Chrome OS really gains a decent amount of market share to itself, i.e. >5% global usage, then it really doesn't need its own subforum. We have enough as it is, and for the amount of topics that would get posted there, at the moment the Linux subforum would suffice.

I'd quite like a subforum for Google products. Perhaps it would discourage the hordes of trolls that flood in every time something is posted about Google.

Nope. Thanks to the forum spy showing what topics are currently being discussed, people will just continue to see topics that pop up there and join in.
