I was looking at Collusion and can anyone tell me about the Neowin connection with youtube?

You most likely viewed a story with an embedded youtube video?

Yep seems about right, if you set your preferences at Youtube (always view HQ if available) and that sort of stuff, that will also carry over to Neowin, with embedded videos.
