You know you are a bad speller when you type a word in Firefox and it doesn't get underlined, so you think something must be wrong. You couldn't possibly have typed that word correctly on the first try. So you back space and start adding a bunch of letters onto the word to see if the spell checking is actually working. You add the letters to the end of the word and low and behold it gets underlined in red. That means everything is working correctly and you nailed the spelling of the word on the very first try!
