Adblock with Neowin.net? Tsk tsk.. But really, it has been known for a bit. It wasn't exactly the biggest news so that could explain why you haven't been able to find much on it.

Ya true I just found it odd that google never released the patch notes for it, my hunch is they released it within the past few days because the build has m with it which is mobile/metro indicator

PS: I had adblock on so I can get a proper picture without ads cluttering it up and to avoid copyright issues ;)

Suuure :shifty:

Just kidding. I haven't tried it for a while now since it has been pushed on the Dev version. Is it still using a context menu instead of the bottom bar (btw, what do they call that bar?) :D

I had been lax in updating Chrome in my Windows 8 installation, but the only problem I really have with the "Metro" version of Chrome is it looks exactly like the desktop version. What I am mainly referring to is that it has the min, max, close buttons. I often use alt+tab to switch windows so don't use them often, but accidentally hit the minimize and it just went down to the lower left corner and I could see part of it there.
I think Chrome needs to "Metro-ize" the browser rather than just stick the desktop version inside the Metro shell or however they did it.
Still nice to use something different than IE.
